– For dehydration. The last of the most common types of muscle contractures is the one that appears due to a lack of muscle hydration. This situation usually occurs when a large amount of alcohol has been consumed and, therefore, our body is dehydrated. This can cause us to feel pains in the neck or cervical area, as well as experience headaches or dizziness.
In either case, this ailment is not serious, and symptoms usually pass within a few days. Depending on the state of health of each person and his or her physical condition, the discomfort may be more intense; however, in a few days, the pain will subside. If this does not happen, it is best to go to the doctor to examine the patient in detail.
