Sugar is not a big ally when it comes to losing weight; however, a Tel Aviv University study has determined that eating sweets at a balanced breakfast of about 600 calories could be beneficial.
Chocolate, one of the most addictive foods, is also included in the assortment of sweets that can be taken as the first meal of the day.
In this sense, the study would have shown that people who incorporated chocolate for breakfast managed to lose more weight and maintain the weight loss process over time.
The crux of the matter would be where chocolate and sweets can be taken in the morning because the body’s metabolism is more active and there is more room to burn more calories throughout the day.
In addition, it would also be a mental question: you face the day knowing that a small food whim has already been made and, therefore, for the rest of the day, when eating sweet would come out expensive, no more mistakes can be made.
In this way, it could be concluded that to lose weight, sweets should be avoided, although in the morning, during the first meal of the day, exceptions can be made that, in the long run, would be beneficial.
