All at some point we have come to fantasize with the desire of the flat belly and the perfect belly, but many times, even for reasons beyond our will, the process to achieve the goal of the perfect body – becomes a little more difficult.

Causes of Abdominal Distension

Abdominal detension may be one of the causes of this swollen belly. This fact may be due to various reasons: sometimes it is the consequence of a real food allergy, in others it is due to a poor absorption of certain carbohydrates, in many cases it is an intolerance to certain foods, and often – it is only the fruit of chance.

In this regard, it should be remembered that the protein-induced immune response in some food is defined as a food allergy. It differs from food intolerance (which is much more frequent) because this is a non-immune reaction produced by the constituents of some foods such as toxins or pharmacological agents (e.g. caffeine). On the other hand, malabsorption is the defect of absorption of nutrients from intestinal light to lymph or blood, and the term bad digestion is reserved for cases where intestinal absorption is altered as a result of the deficit of certain digestive ferments.”

Tips to Avoid Abdominal Swelling

Although the most important thing is to try how your body feels, here are some tips you can put into practice to avoid abdominal swelling and keep your belly flat:

– Take plenty of water

– Avoid saccharins or sweeteners

– Avoid chewing plenty of gum

Lack or excess of fiber can cause abdominal distension

– Avoid spending a lot of time without eating, gastric juices take over your stomach causing inflammation

– Reduce the consumption of soda drinks

– Avoid excess salt in your meals, it helps your stomach get irritad and also facilitate fluid retention

– Eat more slowly, when you speed eating, your stomach is filled with lots of gases, so take your time to chew quietly, digestion begins in the mouth.

– Include in your day-to-day abdominal and cardio exercises that help you keep the upper train in your body in shape

The most important thing is that you enjoy what you eat, starting with chewing well. Respect your body, sit down and watch how you feel so you can give yourself what favors you and discard what harms you.
